WALES & SPANISH CIVIL WAR: THE THREE JONES - David 'Potato' Jones of Swansea, Tom Jones of Rhosllanerchrurog & Jack Jones of Blaenclydach.

Thanks to the Comrade who reminded me of the the Three Spanish Civil War 'Brigaders' named Jones, see information below. I am mindful that Dennis Coslett FWA Commandant first told me of 'Potato Jones' who if I remember correctly was related to Denis's Wife Averil. I will also point out that Denis wrote a number of poems on Socialist/Workers interest, they are as follow; The Dole, Civil War, Homeless, Vagrants and The Blood of Riot', the latter being about the Llanelli Riots of 1911. These poems will be found in Dennis's two published poetry books: 'Rebel Heart' also 'Patriots and Scoundrels', both I believe are still available but I doubt if they will be distributed by the Welsh Books Council. I know there is a Spanish Civil War memorial in Cardiff but how many of the Welsh Volunteers have memorials in their own towns? As far as David 'Potato' Jones is concerned floral tributes may be placed in his memory at the Swansea Seamans Memorial in down in SA1:
