Why? Quite simply in the main the two chief motivators of this events 'nationalist revival' Adam Phillips of Mold and Paul Edwards of Tregaron, formerly of Bridgend have very unclear political, let alone patriotic principles to say the least. Paul Edward does have some political past in so far he had been a member of Plaid Cymru in his youth whilst Adam Phillips appears at least to me, to have no patriotic/political C.V. prior to the year 2000. Of course I may being doing a disservice in that area. However, not so as far as his track record is concerned, he is certainly no Socialist nor Republican as far as I am concerned. Adam changes his 'Politics' as much as he as changed his 'political shirts' from Red, to Black to white. Same the ''movement'' he founded and leads in the main these days by a greater number of websites, blogs and face books which despite him claiming his 'Balchder Cymru' to be a 'political consciousness movement', it is far from being that, If it were it's at a kind of Infants school level of politics.

This perfectly describes Adam, a kind of 'Walter Mitty' of an 'Infantile Adventurist' and in his actions a total 'Dilettante Opportunists', at Rali Cilmeri like many who go there, he is a 'super patriot' a role he plays well when attending the Dewi Day parade of the right wing Plaid Cymru 'Devolution Dilettante' Henry Jones Davies. However from his early days as a ''wannabe'' Freedom Fighter of Mudiad Rhyddhad Cymru an hybrid grouplet inspired by Denis Morris of Cymru 1400 and Paul Edwards of the Red Dragon Movement aka 'Arm Chair Fanatics' or rather as I call them ''Sofa Softees'' after their failiure to protest at visit of English Queen to Caernarfon 27 - 04 - 2010. I do not myself believe that Paul's RDM/ACF aka ''Sofa Softees'' exists at all other than in Pauls Denis Coslett inspired imagination. However, Adam does have a following of in main his ''Flintshire Frontiersmen'' who their political fantasies aside do much use full work as in the Cambria Band, organisation of the Hope Glyndwr Commemoration and surprisingly too actually paint flags and banners.

Whatever, the sad thing is that 'Celtic Socialists' of Scotland and Ireland have fallen for Adam's newly discovered 'Celtic Claptrap' and self discovery that he and his 'Balchder Boyos' are now, actually Socialist as well as being 'Cayo & Coslett' style 'Retro Romantic Republicans'. It is all quite rubbish of course. I am of the opinion that Adam has very little support in Wales outside Flintshire and this appeal to 'Celtic Socialist Republicanism' is designed to not just boost Adam's ego but to actually make sure he has a crowd of Celts at Abergele to boost the numbers so to speak. There might be another reason that causes me to be cynical and, that is despite the little 'Showcase Demo' at the Gate of Caernarfon last 1st July 2009, he was not up for a bigger challenge of protesting at the visit of the Queen of England to Caernarfon Castle on 27 - 04 - 2010? Being also a bit of a believer in 'Conspiracy Theory' I got to ask the question, is this big push on Abergele to distract patriots from protesting about the present 'English Prince of Wales' Carlo crawling' all over Wales this past week. By any stretch of the immagination should not such a 'Radical Soicialist Nationalist Republican' as Adam would be to the fore organising resistence to the English Royals to Wales?

I certainly resisted the English Crown in the 'Sixties' and helped to organise Anti - Jubilee Campaign in 1977, then with others carrying out an all night picket on the entrance to Harlech Castle. In 1983 I was with Cofiwn closing down Caernarfon Castle and still today I am passivelly active in promoting resistence to the English Crown, whilst the actions of Adam and his side kick Paul Edwards of Bridgend, now of Tregaron consistantly with HJD and the 'Cambria Crowd' work against such? I have myself in years passed by helped organise and attended Abergele Martyrs Commemoration, but the time came when it was realised it was pointless organising such when all that was being achieved was rememberance for the sake of rememberance, being but a 'Parody of Patriotism' in advancement of Political Movements.
