Council puts up plaque on site of the massacre of 3 June 1831 and, lets see an annual major ceremony organise in memory of those massacred. Not least let us see a statue of Lewis Lewis errected close to site of massacre, c'mon Merthyr Council Newport has loads of statues, plaques and murals re their 1839 Rising so why are you so shy about the Merthyr Rising? I still consider Abertawe best location for a National May Day event and, for all the same reasons. However, it would be a shame not to hold May Day events all over Wales, so if anything starts to move then let me know and I will assist and participate as best can.
