The Interview in above strikes me as an awfull example of
old Welsh Victorian rural 'forelock tugging' where the down
trodden roll over, offer up the belly, bare the teeth and roll
the eyes 'Uncle Taffy' fall on your knees and thank god for
small mercies. After all they only took the natives off the
land, then drowned that land and made a pretty lake to
provide water for the poor Cholera plaugued masses of
Liverpool, that's alright but 'Back in the Day' but it was
mainly the rich that got to fish in the 'lovely lake'. Some
former resident of the valley ended up in the work house
whilst others struggled to survive but so what some got
a nice new village to live in and so what's our problem
today? I am not sure, some one tell me, somehow it all
sounds 'Blackleg Speak' to me. I kind of cannot imagine
the Blacks or Native Americans speak like this, actually
many did for a long time but many did not and fought back,
not least the Irish!

No wonder the local community today is only asking for
10% of the £11 Million. instead of say 50% or even
demanding the land back, oh no! Meanwhile some dozy
'Bourgeouise Cardiff Cymric Luvee' wants to buy our own
land back, some 'dumb dozy dame!' Someone tell her the
land is on lease and will have to be handed back in 125
years time. All she is doing his helping out the shareholders
of Liverpool Corperation, the Bankers and Estate Agent
Knight Frank et al.

However, up to now, I am struck by the fact that no one
is too bothered that such an huge area of Welsh Land is
being sold in an auction and the bidders names are to be
kept secret. Why is that? I mean why such disinterest in
this issue whilst activists of one kind or another are
hopping all over the place re Open Casts and the Wind
Milling of Wales or if or not one Super Market or another as
Bilingual Signs? But a massive Land Grab is only met in the
main by muted protest by local community andsilence from
Patriotic or Political Activists? How very odd indeed!

As for the so called Welsh Media,
very silent and such a big story?

I am seriously considering throwing in the towel, not least
when it looks as if the 'Usual Suspects' of Rural Cultural
Nationalism have 'thrown in the towel' with out even
getting in the ring! So much for 'Dal Dy Dir' that's 'Hold
The Land' to us 'English Speaking' Welsh. As it stands,
I have gone and suggested weekend of 25 - 26 September
as best time for a 'Mass Mobalisation - Weekend of Action',
not realising that clashed with an 'Elvis Festival' in Porthcawl,
damn it! Think I shall cancell the 'Land and Liberty'
bothersome business and instead grow some sideburns
then get a pair of 'Blue Suade Shoes' and spend the
weekend in Porthcawl. At my age, I think the latter will
be more preferable. let the 'Gogs' worry about Vyrnwy?
